		Kurt and Sabrina Adler, husband, wife, and private detectives rejoin forces with Lucius Silva and police detective Noah Swayne. Together the ‘Fearsome Foursome’ face a killer who haunts the crossovers in Cocoa Beach in search of specific victims who must die on specific days and in specific ways in order for the killer to achieve his destiny, and reclaim the birthright of his beloved nation. Assistant ME, Dr. Annette Renoir, a former lover of Noah’s, declares the first death a suicide. She declares the second death an accident. The facts fit Annette’s findings but Noah’s gut, enhanced by nightmares forcing him to relive each death, plus unidentified feathers and scratches discovered on each victim—say otherwise. Without hard evidence to prove differently, Annette declares a third death a suicide. In this case, however, the scratches are identified, a series of three sixes carved into the back of the victim’s right hand. Kurt, Sabrina, and Lucius search for a connection between the victims and the significance of the sixes and the feathers while Noah searches for a mysterious woman seen at the scene of two homicides. They fail to uncover anything until after the killer chooses his fourth victim. The race is on to stop the killings before more people die. Kurt, Sabrina, Lucius, and Noah realize they are pursing a killer who will stop at nothing to achieve his destiny. They also realize they face a mystery with more twists and turns than Lombard Street in San Francisco.

Meet Jerry Kelly, the Inn’s desk manager who first discovers a series of clues that encourage him to search deeper into the mystery behind room 107. And then follow Kurt and Sabrina, the hero and heroine from Welcome to the Ahwahnee, as they track a mysterious disappearance in Seattle. The Adler’s search leads them to The Inn at Cocoa Beach where they enlist the aid of Lucius Silva Flavius, a lovable but cantankerous local historian, and Jerry Kelly. Ride along with these four and other intriguing and mysterious characters as they delve deep into a mystery that appears more impenetrable each time they uncover a new clue. And finally, live every frightening moment as the four confront a mind-boggling ancient secret.

	On a small windswept and tidal ravaged island a protector plants the seeds of mans destruction and forces Mother Earth to nurture his evil wards over a four hundred year span. Growing more impatient with each passing century, this violent and malevolent entity waits on the island for the return of the protector, a man charged with unleashing death on an unsuspecting world. Before the protector can release the enraged entity, seemingly unrelated hangings and the theft of an antique yacht stymies local authorities and the FBI until two novelists, Brock and Sarah London, receive a clue provided by a mysterious and unidentified letter writer. The letter and its clues draw Brock, a detective novelist, and Sarah, a creator of children’s stories based on ancient myths, deeper and deeper into a mystery that threatens their lives and their souls as they doggedly follow a killing trail across years and locales. Unable to convince the FBI a threat to the human race is real, Brock and Sarah pursue the killer using only their wits and an occasional clue provided by the mysterious letter writer. A final confrontation threatening the future of humanity erupts between the novelists supported by a small eclectic band of would-be warriors and the protector charged with unleashing the island’s evil on the world.

	Welcome to the Ahwahnee A flash of white blinds Kurt Adler, aged seven, as he leaves his classroom. Shaking with fear, Kurt opens his eyes, lets out a muffled cry. He is not at school. He’s standing on a sidewalk. Gripping Kurt’s arm, a stranger stands next to him. Kurt starts to cry out from pain but catches his breath when he glances at his arm and sees a ruffled blouse. Kurt stares into a shop window he recognizes, Mr. Johnson’s Schwinn store. The reflection confuses and frightens him. The window glass reveals two faces. One belongs to a stranger. The second is not Kurt’s. This face belongs to Kay Rivers, Kurt’s six year-old neighbor and best friend. Kurt screams. The vision disappears and Kurt finds himself back at school. Terrified, he runs the six blocks to Mr. Johnson’s store as fast as his seven year-old legs can carry him. He arrives in time to witness Kay’s abduction. Kurt shouts for help and watches as Mr. Johnson saves Kay and subdues the stranger. Over a thirty-year period and multiple continents, Kurt and a collection of equally intriguing characters savor their wild romps through intersecting worlds and the adventures each presents. The story erupts in a classic battle between good and evil that requires the ultimate in strength and conviction from all players.
